CyberPowerPC had one of the most unique concept PC cases at CES 2022 with a huge tease of its "KINETIC" case, that intelligently adjusts the ventilation on the front of the case in real-time... like, it moves as if it were alive, and it's freaking awesome. Check it out:

The CyberPowerPC KINETIC case has 18 individually controlled articulating vents that work with the temperature inside of your PC in real-time, and then open and close the vents when required to allow more or less airflow into the KINETIC case. The patent-pending parametric design can also detect environmental changes around your case, and adjust as it needs.

Intel's new RM1 stock cooler for its new 12th Gen Core "Alder Lake" processors has been tested, with the new 12th Gen Core 65C CPU series launching in January 2022 with these spiffy new RM1 stock coolers. Check it out:

The cooler was tested by the team at 163, with Intel's new "Laminar RM1" stock cooler tested with the unreleased mid-range Core i5-12400 processor -- a new 6-core, 12-thread Alder Lake CPU -- with the power consumption averaging out at 81W, peaking at 89C.

In an 8-minute FPU stress test in AIDA64, the Intel Core i5-12400 cooled with the new RM1 stock cooler had an average CPU temp of 70C, and peak temperature of 75W -- with the fan speed at 3100RPM and reported to be "audible". There's no RGB lighting here, as the higher-end RH1 stock cooler will have RGB lighting and better thermal performance.

Xiaomi has just unveiled its next-gen cooling technology dubbed Loop LiquidCool Technology, which is over twice as good at cooling devices as regular vapor chamber-based cooling.

The new Xiaomi Loop LiquidCool Technology borrows from cooling solutions and technologies used in the aerospace industry, where the company is using a capillary effect which drags liquid cooling agent to the heat source, vaporizes it, and then disperses the heat efficiently towards the cooling area -- it will continue this until the agent confesses, and then it is captured through a unidirectional closed-loop channel.

When compared to traditional vapor chamber cooling technology, Xiaomi's new Loop LiquidCool Technology will have 2x the cooling capacity, and "ranks as the most efficient smartphone cooling solution".

We first heard whispers, then saw purported photos, then had it confirmed with new PSUs and now we have it clear as day: the new 12-pin PCIe 5.0 power connector.

The latest and greatest Intel 12th Gen Core "Alder Lake" CPUs are here with the new Z690 chipset, unleashing DDR5 memory and PCIe 5.0 connectivity to millions of people across the planet. The new PCIe 5.0 standard comes with its own new tricks: a new PCI-Express Gen5 Molex Micro-Fit 3.0 cable.

This connector is rated up to 9A at 12V, meaning the 12-pin PCIe power connector can handle up to 648W of power running through it. From a specifications standpoint, the new 12-pin connector is good for up to 600W of power. The new ASUS ROG Thor 1000W Platinum II PSU for example has a 12-pin PCIe cable bundled and can "pipe up to 600W of power to PCIe Gen 5.0 graphics cards" of the future.

ASUS has just taken the wraps off of its new ROG Thor 1600W Titanium PSU, ready for Intel's next-gen Alder Lake CPUs and new Z690 motherboards and PCIe 5.0 power connectors.

NVIDIA is expected to have its new GeForce RTX 3090 Ti graphics card with PCIe 5.0 power connectors, which it will be the first in the world with, and ASUS will now have your back with its ROG Thor 1600W Titanium PSU. It has PCIe 5.0 power connectors, as well as the usual 8-pin and 6-pin PCIe power connectors for your GPU.

You're not going to buy the new ASUS ROG Thor 1600W Titanium PSU for your GeForce GTX 1650, you're meant to have this with a new system... something like the just-announced Intel Core i9-12900K processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti graphics card, which isn't quite out yet.

Corsair will be rubbing its hands with glee at the amount of new products it will be unleashing in the coming months and years ready for Intel's new 12th Gen Core "Alder Lake" CPUs.

The company has just introduced its new PRO generation of performance custom cooling CPU water blocks in its Hydro X Series, with the introduction of the new XC5 RGB PRO and XC7 RGB PRO. These new CPU water blocks are ready for the new Intel LGA 1700 socket, and have 110 high-efficiency micro-cooling fings with an innovative quad-split flow design.

Corsair is using new precision-matched copper cold plates and a quad-split flow design with multiple inlet channels, which allow the new Hydro X Series XC5 RGB PRO and XC7 RGB PRO reach new levels of cooling performance. Corsair says the new CPU water blocks are up to 4C lower than the previous-gen water block.

Intel is days away from launching its new 12th Gen Core "Alder Lake" CPUs and with it, will be a slew of new cooling solutions -- one of which is from Corsair and their new AIO liquid cooler.

Corsair's new AIO liquid cooler looks great, with a radically tweaked LCD panel on the CPU cooler that will show you CPU cooler temperatures, pump speeds, animated graphics, and more. Corsair's new AIO liquid cooler will be compatible with Intel's next-gen Alder Lake CPUs on the LGA1700 socket.

The company will be making its next-gen AIO liquid cooler in both 240mm and 360mm designs.

Intel's next-gen LGA 1700 socket is going to debut with the new 12th Gen "Alder Lake" CPUs, with be quiet! has now announced free LGA 1700 mounting kits for compatible CPUs.

The company has announced that with the changes by Intel in the new LGA 1700 socket, with an additional 500 contacts from the LGA 1200 socket to the LGA 1700 socket, be quiet! notes that the "socket had to be greatly enlarged".

"Thus, the heatspreader has a much larger surface than before, and above all no longer square, but rectangular. While this heralds a new era for Intel CPUs that promises even more performance, unfortunately no CPU coolers already available on the market are compatible with this change".

Intel was meant to not be replacing the reference CPU cooler with its new 12th Gen Core "Alder Lake" CPUs according to previous rumors, but now a new rumor -- this time with pictures -- suggests the company will be refreshing its reference CPU cooler.

The retail boxed versions of the Intel 12th Gen Core CPUs will reportedly be refreshed, with the coolers named Laminar RH1, RM1, and RS1 coolers. The early designs look pretty damn good and will have Intel step up to the same level that AMD has been at for a while with its greatly improved reference CPU cooler.

All of the new purported Intel reference CPU coolers are different in design, with the Laminar RH1 is much taller than the RM1 and RS1 cooler. Intel -- if this rumor is true -- will be a big deal as it'll be the first time in many, many years that Intel has changed the reference CPU cooler on its new-gen CPUs.

Intel will be launching its next-gen Alder Lake CPUs later this year, with the LGA 1700 socket making its first appearance, and now ASUS will support the new 12th Gen Core CPUs with its ASUS ROG STRIX LC II cooler.

The ASUS ROG STRIX LC II cooler is born from a collaboration between ASUS and Asetek, as an AIO cooler for a multitude of processors. But now according to Xfastest, the ASUS ROG STRIX LC II cooler has fasteners that are adjustable between 75-78mm, which should see it being compatible with the LGA 1700 socket for Intel's next-gen Alder Lake CPUs.

The new ASUS ROG STRIX LC II cooler will be compatible with the next-gen ASUS ROG Maximus XIV motherboards that will be powered by Intel's next-gen Z690 chipset. We should expect the new Intel 12th Gen Core CPUs and Z690 chipset (as well as the B660 and H670 chipsets) to launch before the end of the year -- sometime during, or after October 2021 when Windows 11 launches.
