EVGA has just unleashed one of the most insane PC chassis ever made, with the introduction of its new E1 Frame Set: a new open-air chassis that is for the EVGA lover in anyone.

The new EVGA E1 chassis comes in three different SKUs: the bare E1 Frame set and GPU vertical kit for $1600 which makes up "EVGA E1 Kit 2", while the "EVGA E1 Kit 1" throws in the EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti KINGPIN and the free 1600W PSU that you get with it, for $3700.

EVGA wants to max out your credit card out with the monster "EVGA E1 Bare Bones" that includes everything that the E1 Kit 1 does, but also throws in the PowerLink 52u, the Z690 DARK KINGPIN motherboard, and a very, very awesome premium shipping case (that's worth $800 on its own). If you're building a brand new, super-high-end, all-EVGA system then that'll set you back $5000.

Lian Li has a very AIO coolers on the market, but it teased a new prototype AIO cooler during its recent 2022 DIGITAL EXPO 2.0 event, which you can check out below:

During the 2022 DIGITAL EVENT 2.0, Lian Li unveiled a bunch of new cases, coolers, fans, and the chunky new 360mm AIO cooler. Lian Li teased new plans for its LANCOOL 216, DAN Cases A3 m-ATX, and O11D EVO XL cases, while also providing some new strategies for its SL120/140 V2, AL120 V2, and AL140 fans.

Lian Li says that its new AIO liquid cooler features a "100% LIAN LI design built from the ground up", with a chunky 32mm thick x 130mm wide radiator that has performance-optimized 28mm thick fans, which Lian Li says will deliver "great thermal performance". Lian Li's new prototype 360mm AIO cooler has a unique pump block design that provides a great level of customization, with Lian Li teasing multiple included accessories that let users tweak their new AIO cooler.

AMD and NVIDIA are both preparing for monster next-gen GPUs, with NVIDIA's new Ada Lovelace-powered graphics cards using upwards of 800W at the flagship next-gen GPU side of things.

We've had a growing list of manufacturers join the PCIe 5.0 power supply unit (PSU) game, with MSI's new MEG PCIe 5.0 + ATX 3.0 PSUs being tested behind the scenes. MSI has their next-gen MEG Ai1300 and Ai1000P PSUs that will be ready for next-gen GPUs, with some new details to jump into.

MSI says that their next-gen MEG Ai1300/1000P power supplies are the "ultimate future proof PSU" where it has an output port that is compliant with PCIe 5.0 and Intel PSDG (Power Supply Design Guide) ATX 3.0. MSI also states that the new MEG Ai1300P and Ai1000p PCIE5 power supplies can hold up to 2x total power excursion and 3x GPU power excursion.

ASUS has just unveiled its new Prime AP201 Micro-ATX case, which might look small -- 33L of space is inside -- but it can take larger 280mm and 360mm radiators and large graphics cards.

Inside, the ASUS Prime AP201 can take a 338mm long graphics card, which is gigantic by the way, standard ATX power supplies at up to 180mm long, custom liquid cooling setups, and a bunch of storage devices. It's impressive to see, and then throw in the fact that there are over 57,000 precision-machined 1.5mm holes that help with airflow, and give you a tease of your PC hardware inside of the Prime AP201 Micro-ATX case.

You can take the side panel off the case without any tools, with ASUS providing space for up to 6 cooling fans inside of the Prime AP201: 3 in the front, 2 at the bottom, and 1 on top of the case.

Cooler Master has launched two new gaming monitors, with the introduction of the all-new GM Series Curved Monitor lineup that the company says is for "work and play".

The new Cooler Master GM27-CFX features a 27-inch VA panel, but with a lower 1920 x 1080 (1080p) resolution, but an ultra-fast 240Hz refresh rate. I'm not a big fan of 1080p gaming monitors with ultra-fast 240Hz refresh rates, as this would've been a much better offering had it a higher 2560x1440 (1440p) resolution.

But then we have the higher-end Cooler Master GM34-CWQ ARGB with a larger 32-inch VA panel, and 3440 x 1440 native resolution (21:9 aspect ratio, UltraWide), while being driven at a still-high 144Hz refresh rate. Both of the new Cooler Master GM Series gaming monitors have a 0.5ms response time, and both tap Quantum Dot technology. Both of the new monitors also feature a low blue light mode, which is great for all-night gaming sessions.

Antec has introduced its new open-air Cannon gaming case, which features a rather unique design -- allowing for your graphics card to be mounted vertically -- on either the front or the left side of the case.

The new Antec Cannon case lets you mount your GPU where your AIO radiator would normally go, with the company including a PCIe 4.0-capable riser in the box. Speaking of radiators, Antec says that its new open-air Cannon PC case can handle 3 x 360mm radiators, simultaneously.

GPU mounting can be done on the left of the Antec Cannon, where you can install your GPU either sideways, or mount it vertically with the GPU bracket. If you GPU is being installed at the front of the case (oh man, that would look SO good) then you can install a water pump adjacent to the motherboard for the ultimate in style + performance + once again, style.

GIGABYTE has just confirmed that all of its AIO liquid coolers and its tower fans for multi-platforms, have brackets for AMD's new Socket AM5.

AMD's new Socket AM5 (LGA1718) will be ready for the world of the next-gen Zen 4 architecture and upcoming Ryzen 7000 series CPUs, with GIGABYTE saying that all of its current coolers will work on the new AM5 socket without having to buy any additional brackets or fans.

GIGABYTE takes into consideration the platform variation in the initial design stage of its AIO liquid cooler and tower fans. GIGABYTE first confirmed the continuity of the AM4 brackets on the new AM5 platform, and then tested out all of its AIO liquid coolers and towier fans to make sure they all worked... and had optimal thermal performance on the new platform "through rigorous tests".

EK continues to outdo itself with each product release, where today the watercooling company has just announced the combination of nature + technology with its new EK-Quantum water blocks that feature a gorgeous walnut wood top.

The new signature CPU water blocks - EK-Quantum Velocity² and EK-Quantum Magnitude Lignum edition. Lignum Lime, you say? Lignum Lime is inspired by Edvard Koning's love of woodwork, as well as modern computer technology, and is named after the Latin translation of the word "wood".

The new EK-Quantum Velocity² Lignum Edition - Walnut is available for both AMD AM4 and Intel LGA1700 sockets -- meaning no matter the PC you've got, you'll keep it cool (and woody). EK explains its specialized manufacturing techniques: "deployed to create this truly unique product. Not a single Magnitude component was made using mass production techniques. Instead, every single piece was CNC-milled separately out of a solid piece of material. At the heart of Magnitude lies the CNC-machined solid brass insert. This component made it possible to significantly enlarge and optimize the cooling engine".

You might want to hold off on any power supply upgrades to your PC for a while, as you'll want to get a new ATX 3.0-capable PSU with the new PCIe Gen 5 12VHPWR connectors that we'll see on NVIDIA and AMD's next-gen GPUs.

PCIe 5.0-powered GPUs and new ATX 3.0 PSUs are going to be coughing out some major numbers, with "Power Excursions" of up to 1800W spikes of power. For example, NVIDIA's new flagship GeForce RTX 3090 Ti has a TGP rating of 450W, and could have power spikes of up to 1350W while the next-gen GeForce RTX 4090 is rumored to chew 600W, so a power spike of an insane 1800W is there.

The news is coming directly from Intel's Platform Power Specialist, Stephen Eastman, where during an interview with PCWorld, said: "With the new PCIe 5.0 connector and ATX 3.0, Intel and the PCI SIG address what both euphemistically call "power excursions." You might recognize it by the less sugar coated term "power spike." The PCI SIG has basically outlined the capability of a GPU to exceed the maximum sustained power of the card by 3x. That means a 600 watt card on a PCIe 5.0 12VHPWR connector is allowed to spike to 1,800 watts for 100 micro-seconds".

AMD will be releasing its new Ryzen 7000 series CPUs later this year, powered by the new Zen 4 architecture and arriving on the new AM5 socket.

We've already seen a few CPU cooling manufacturers announce that their fleets of CPU coolers would work with AMD's new AM5 socket, with Noctua throwing its hat into the AM5 hat... and now Arctic has announced that all of its AM4-compatible CPU coolers will work with AMD's new AM5 socket.

Arctic tweeted: "AMD is expected to release the next-generation AMD Ryzen™ 7000 desktop processors (Zen 4) by the end of 2022. Since all mechanical dimensions remain identical, ARCTIC is able to guarantee the compatibility of its coolers with the new AMD processors".
