Yeah, the gaming monitor market is an exciting one if you've got the money to spend. There are some large 4K gaming monitors in sizes between 27/32/43/55 inches -- right up to 65-inch and beyond if you want to spend many thousands of dollars. Alienware even makes a huge 55-inch OLED 4K 120Hz gaming TV that is out-of-this-world.

But if you want a little bit of luxury and want to be fully pulled into the world of the game you're playing, then maybe you want a huge UltraWide monitor -- they came in different shapes and sizes, too.

The huge 55-inch TV being an OLED panel is even better as you get some of the best image quality capable today, with true blacks that will only make for the best gaming experience possible.

The native 4K resolution and super-smooth 120Hz should be perfect at 55 inches in size, with the OLED doing so much of the heavy lifitng. The design of the Alienware 55 OLED Gaming Monitor is also out-of-this-world.

I've personally used and I'm even typing this article up on the ASUS ROG Strix XG438Q Large Gaming Monitor and it is gorgeous. The huge 43-inch panel with 125% scaling in Windows 10 is perfect for productivity, but man-oh-man the gaming on this display is awesome.

It's also $2000 cheaper than the Alienware 55 OLED, so if you don't quite have the money to buy a $3000+ gaming monitor then the ASUS ROG Strix XG438Q Large Gaming Monitor should become your next purchase.

3.) Samsung CRG9 (Gigantic UltraWide)

Samsung has one of the most premium UltraWide gaming monitors on the market with its gigantic CRG9 -- a huge 49-inch monitor with a native resolution of 5120 x 1440 (5K wide) and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

The bigger-than-life gaming monitor would have to be one of the most ridiculous gaming monitors you can buy, and I think that's why I fell in love with it.

The step down from a larger 3840 x 1600 resolution is the traditional 3440 x 1440 UltraWide monitors, with the MSI Optix MPG341CQR Curved Gaming Monitor fitting the bill perfectly. MSI is relatively new to the gaming monitor market, but it is already taking big swings.

At $800 it is $1000 cheaper than the higher-end premium LG 38GL950G UltraGear Gaming Monitor, but that is money you can put into a higher-end graphics card to keep all the graphical bells and whistles enabled in your games.

If you didn't want the huge 55-inch Alienware 55 OLED gaming TV or the ASUS ROG Strix XG438Q because they are too big, in steps the Acer Predator XB273K which is a 27-inch 4K monitor with a super-fast 144Hz refresh.

I would personally recommend the ASUS ROG Strix XG438Q over this, but if 43 inches is too big and you're looking for a 27-inch 4K gaming monitor then this one is for you.

7.) MSI Optix MAG321CQR (Large 1440p)

Seriously, for $400 you're getting a huge 32-inch VA panel with a native 2560 x 1440 resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. Perfect for intense gaming on a larger panel without breaking the bank and spending over $500.

Better yet, you don't need a ridiculously high-end graphics card to run 1440p games at 144Hz. I would still recommend something high-end like a GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT, though. You could get away with something a little slower, but it would depend on the game.

GIGABYTE has a slightly higher-end 1440p gaming monitor on its hands with the AORUS CV27Q offering the same resolution but on a smaller 27-inch panel. The refresh rate is bumped up from 144Hz to 165Hz.

Once again this is better for someone who wants a smaller 27-inch panel (it's curved, by the way) over the larger 32-inch 1440p panels on the market.

Now we're down to the 1920 x 1080 (1080p) gaming monitors, with MSI and its Optix MAG272CR which is a 27-inch curved panel with a 165Hz refresh rate. It won't break the bank either at just $275.

You can run a much wider range of graphics on this monitor, but if you want to drive 165Hz you're going to need something that isn't too old or slow.

If you're playing Overwatch or Fortnite, then you'll want this if you want to get as close to 300FPS as you can.
